'We have a guy named Jim who's the best erector set guy in the history of mankind,' says Luke. The process proved challenging, between wearing the snug motion capture suits and acting out scenes with makeshift sets. The trio got together in 2010, and spent nearly three years performing the motion capture and voice acting for the game, moving between a studio and voiceover booth to bring Franklin, Michael and Trevor to life. 'He was a guy living in South Los Santos, and me living in South Los Angeles - South Central. 'I lived his life before,' Fonteno says of Franklin. Initially, Fonteno sought out and helped other actors vying for the role of Franklin, but eventually ended up with the role himself after several weeks. After dabbling in music and movies, Fonteno was recruited to help Rockstar by friend DJ Pooh, a consultant for Grand Theft Auto V and co-producer and writer for San Andreas (fans of the movie Friday might remember him as the character Red). 'To elicit other emotions was tough, and it was the biggest challenge and it's something that meant a lot to me,' says Ogg. Yet, he also wanted players to appreciate and sympathize with Trevor. Ogg describes Trevor as an impulsive yet loyal ally whose over-the-top thrillseeking epitomizes a game like Grand Theft Auto. The challenge of it, the rush of it - it's the drug.'

Six years passed, and Ogg got the itch to act again.

After picking up several jobs, including small roles on Law and Order and Third Watch, Ogg stopped 'to escape to the country and build a country house' in Connecticut, picking up voiceover work in the city. Born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, Ogg left college and traveled the world, living in Paris, Milan and London before acting called him to New York City. Ogg's journey to Grand Theft Auto V took a more global route. To handle the physicality of it, I thought it would be good putting on the weight.' He doesn't know exactly what he's doing with his life. 'He's in a midlife crisis,' says Luke of the character.
